Lovely little hotel in a quiet residential area not far from St Martin’s Canal. Quirky but charmingly decorated. The staff were delightful and very happy to answer all our questions. On our arrival we were given a choice of rooms (a very nice touch and presumably not always possible). We chose one at the front of the hotel, despite this facing onto the street it was in fact very quiet. A beautiful fruit basket was left in our room and there were cakes, tea and coffee in the reception for guests to help themselves to free of charge. Those wanting to be in the heart of Paris might find it a bit far out, that said the hotel is only 5 minutes walk to the nearest Metro (Goncourt) and from there 10 minutes to Châtelet. Feels more authentic as a result. Great restaurants nearby including Le Marine on the canal.

We loved our stay. Our flight arrived early in the day and they were able to accommodate an early checkin. The location was perfect for our 6 nights exploring different neighborhoods of Paris. Any metro line we needed was a close walk. Many high quality bakeries close by to explore for affordable breakfast. Safe neighborhood. We never had to ask for anything extra but there was always someone available if needed. We appreciated the 24 access to coffee/hot chocolate in the lobby. Comfortable bed. Excellent water pressure and temperature, which I find is not common in many hotels.

All were very nice. People who work at hotel are really friendly and helpful in everything. Yes, the rooms are small but it’s not the most important if you are most of the time in the city. Living in this hotel you no need to worry about transport to city centre, you almost there. Walk- 25-30 min to Louvre but if you don’t want to walk, metro station is very comfortable, stations is near and you can easily go with it where ever you want.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Planque. The decor was well thought out with a nice mix of vintage pieces and modern comfort. Our room was a good size (for Paris) with a modern bathroom and luxury toiletries. The local area is peaceful and not very touristy but still close enough to everything. We found lots of nice cafes and restaurants close by and enjoyed the 30 minute walk down to the Marais. Staff were also very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Very cute little Parisienne hotel. Charming and chic. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was better than I expected. A lovely fresh continental buffet, again very much what you'd hope for in Paris. Bed was comfortable and clean. 12 noon check out was very generous. All staff were exceptional. Would definitely go back. Lots of nice places to eat out and very friendly locals.

The staff (both front staff and cleaning staff) are friendly, accommodating and thoughtful. Front desk is available 24/7 and they speak English and once again are very accommodating. The location is great, walking distance from many attractions and subway. The rooms are a bit small but incredibly clean and comfortable. Breakfast is simple but you have your basics accounted for. The breakfast area is as pretty as the photos.

Lovely boutique hotel with friendly staff and great breakfast, freshly baked bread every morning, variation of cheeses and they have an egg boiler which is a great addition to the continental breakfast. The room was very clean and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to room on the top floor with a lovely view over the surrounding rooftops. The location is great, only a few minutes from the nearest metro station and about 10 min walk from Republique, so it is easy to get anywhere with public transport, but also plenty of nice areas to visit within walking distance as well as restaurants and cafes. Will definitely stay again!

it’s an old building witha lot of character, they renovated it completely. it’s very cute. great staff, I urgently needed to print something for my work they printed it for me free of charge, and they very friendly as well. There is a possibility to book a parking space upfront. We very glad that we did that, it was amazing, it is 1 min drive from the hotel, but still great.

The hotel staff were exceptional throughout our stay, particularly Nabeel, Amin, and Rabea. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and both the bedroom and bathroom were spotless. The atmosphere had a cozy, homely vibe. It was conveniently located near the metro, and the selection of tea was fantastic. Plus, there was all-day access to hot drinks and pastries, which was a lovely touch.
